Matte blued finish to the barrel and receiver with jeweled bolt and extractor, polished bolt handle, and a walnut Monte Carlo style stock with rosewood pistol grip cap featuring ivory diamond insert, and a checkered black synthetic buttplate. Bolt action internal magazine fed repeating rifle mounting a Redfield one piece scope base with custom engraved scope rings featuring Arabesque embellishments enclosing a Redfield 4X-12X telescopic sight. Left receiver displays standard WINCHESTER/TRADE MARK. Left barrel marks read MADE IN NEW HAVEN, CONN. U.S. OF AMERICA-WINCHESTER-/-WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL-TRADE MARK-MODEL-70-243 WIN.-. Receiver and barrel exhibit standard Winchester monogram firing proof marks. The barrel is drilled and tapped to install iron sights, but currently mounts thread protectors. Magazine floorplate is deep relief engraved with a buck profile emerging from an oak leaf and acorn wreath with arabesque scroll borders that flow over the triggerguard and trigger plate.
